I'm out shooting quarters and the Bersa seems to be doing a good job till I go to use my decocker. The safty bar isn't there. It broke. Metal fatigue? Is this part covered under any warranty?

Yes it would be covered under Bersa's one year warranty. If you filled out the registration card and returned the card to Bersa, and you purchased the weapon less than a year ago should be in good shape.

Is there any info and/or videos on here that show how to replace the firing pin and spring on a 9UC on here? I can't seem to find it. I might as well replace them too. My weapon is the new model (C335**) with out the spring under the rear sight. I'm trying to get everything lined up before they open this morning.

Just talked to Bersa and was told that the safety bar "might" be a free replacement if I sent it in to a repair shop.
So it looks like I'll buy it. No problem replacing the safety bar as I was helped/shown how to do that before. Still looking for info on replacing the firing pin tho. (spring not under the rear sight)

Any one having problems ordering parts through Bersa parts page, use the " Checkout with Multiple Addresses" to get to step 2. Bersa is aware of the problem and is working on it.

Safety bar parts on the way.
I also need to replace the firing pin on my 9 UC but can't seem to find any info on doing it. Has anybody here replaced one on the new 9 UC? The new one doesn't have the spring under the rear sight. I think I found the pin that is holding the firing pin in, but am not sure if I need it to come out from the inside or out from the top. I'm thinking from the inside, I should tap the pin in from the top and have it come out from the inside. Is there anything I should watch out for or have lined up?? Has anybody here done this before???

Hobbles, Did you really miss hitting the quarter?????
If I shoot at money I would have to use something bigger like a one dollar bill.

Mornin Tony1990,
Those holes are from a different shoot, I marked them with red so I would know on the next shoot. If you click on the word "job" in my first post, it shows when I hit the quarter. I may go to the dollar my self, it MIGHT be easier to hit. The two nails on the left were for a dime, I tried that then went to the quarter. I have an old 50 cent piece, maybe I should try that?

Great shot Hobbles, much better that I can shoot. Cool pictures of your broken Bersa and firing pin service.

Shucks, no pistol parts came, but the roll pin punches did, it's a start.

As long as you have the ones you need, that's all that counts. I always seem to need just one more tool.
