I have a BT22LR black pistols and I have and have used the following over the last few years in it.
Blazer - 40 gr
CCI mini Mag - 36gr
CCI Stinger - 36gr
CCI Volocitor - 36gr
Remington Yellow Jacket HP - 33gr
Winchester - 36gr
I have had some misfires however not enough to require self repair or real gun smithing repairs. I use my BT22 more often now since the price 380 ammo is still higher than I would like and i only shoot for enjoyment. My 380 and 357 are used for SD.

P.S. the 22LR ammo I have and use are from the Dark Ages when the manufacturers took their time making their ammo and not running their equipment 24 hours 7 days a week to keep up with the demand.

If you get the nickel plated gun be sure the cleaning solution you use does not have ammonia in it. Ammonia may case the plating to flake off (not right away, though).

You can add Federal Auto-Match and Remington Golden Bullets to your list.

I located and purchased a Bersa Firestorm 22 LR with four mags, for a reasonable price. I cannot say enough good things about this gun. It fires all 22 LR rounds.

Welcome to Bersa Pistol Forum, glad to have you on board.

With 4 Mags, now that is a good deal. I had to buy extra mags for my Bersa 22LR. It is a great little gun to go to the range and enjoy shooting with out costing an arm and a leg.

Hi
I have tried a lot of different ammo in my B22.
The cheap stuff (read muzzle velocity) under 1200 FPS just does not work.
I only use 1200 FPS muzzle velocity and my B22 shoots trouble free. One cheap bullet to avoid is Federal Champion.
Love the gun. See my thread about b22 amo

My BT22 likes any round with a velocity over 1200fps. Forget cci standard velocity and federal champion. Have tested 8 brands with same results.
