Hello to all,

I'm a retired veteran. (Viet Nam. USN).

In Tennessee. Just bought a BT380. Haven't done anything with it yet but clean it.
Sold guns for a while when I first came home from the service. Today was the first time I've been back in a gunshop since 1974. So I'm kind of a newby again. Things change a lot in 40 years.
Hoping soon to complete my handgun course and apply for my concealed carry permit.

Anyway, I'm very happy to be here and am thankful for the opportunity of learning in the forum.

Welcome, OldRoman.

Lex here, California and Viet vet (US Army 101st Air Mobile). I spent a lot of time in the Chattanooga / Dalton, GA area during my previous life in the carpet business.

I recently purchased a Bersa FireStorm .380. It's the no frills budget priced model but quickly becoming my range favorite. Sadly it's the only Bersa that's approved for sale in the Republic of CA.

Good luck on your course & permit

Your tour was in '68? That's when the war was raging. I was there from mid July of '71 to early Jan. '72. That was during Nixon's "Vietnamization" exit program of leaving everything behind for the ARVN Army and the people up a creek.
