I was searching the net for some information on a FEG pistol and one of the pieces of info I found can be used to make racking a BT380 easier for those individuals that have a hard time racking a Bersa.
This is what I found regarding how to check for a bullit in the chamber by racking the slide. *Quote " The hammer spring is a pretty hefty number, too, so when the hammer is down the combination of the two springs require the shooter to put some effort into retracting the slide to inspect the chamber. UnQuote. I tried it and it does reduce the amount of effort it takes to rack the slide. Now if you are 6'4" and 225 lbs this won't help you but it may help other bersa users. (like my wife.)
I hope this is usefull.
