New member here, just ressurected a Bersa Model 83A from storage, checked over with less than 70 rounds since I bought it in 1993, and gunsmith says it is good to go! So I hope this site will provide any info I need for this pistol and any future ones, I will enjoy reading past posts! Thanks, Dave

Glad to have you as a member. I have never seen a Bersa 83 but from what I see it looks just like the BT 380 as per the picture.

I love my BT380 as a house defense weapon and I carry my BT380cc.

Thanks, I should have posted Model 383-A, with Nickel finish. Yup, looks like the one in your picture. I am wondering if the size of it is the same as the Bersa Thunder 380 ? Need to get some holsters. Dave
