I've really become a big fan of the 9UC over the past several months, but like a lot of Bersa fans, I started with a BT-380. About seven years ago I decided that it was time to buy a gun to keep on the night stand and to carry in the camper, especially when making out of town trips. Cost and lifetime warranty were the motivating factors, comfort was secondary at the time. Due to having broad hands, comfort was lacking until I stumbled onto the DLX mags. With the larger mags, it changed my whole perception of the gun. Times change and in '05 after I retired from the post office and with having open carry here I started carrying it in what ever vehicle I was using. I've never been a fan of open carry, so two years ago, right after a gang related murder right up the street from I decide to get a CCW and then later upgraded to the Bersa 9UC. I carry it in an owb holster I obtained from UBG. I have since bought another BT380, used, and a used Fire Storm 22lr. For my SD mags, I carry Federal Premium 147gr +P JHPs alternating them in the mag with American Eagle or Mag Tech 124gr FMJs.
