New guy here from the general area of N'awlins expecting delivery of my second Bersa Thunder from Bud's tomorrow when a new .380 Combat joins my mature Nickel Crimson Trace BT .22/ in the personal armory. They call me Doc but my other name is Michael, and I'm a companion animal veterinarian most of the time.

Welcome aboard from Tampa Bay. You're assembling a nice stable of Bersa guns. ....A BT-22, also? I'm envious. I love .22's.

That slick little mini-mouser is well balance and is one of the nicest handling pistols I've ever fired except that it has a mind of itself when it come to ammo brand and style. As long as I can get my hands on CCI Mini-mag 0300's (CPRN) it should continue be a noteworthy fun gun, but as for stables of gunz I swear to you that I don't need no more steenking gunz and this is it - I don't need no more steenking gunz and this is it - I don't need no more steenking gunz and this is it - I don't need no more steenking gunz and this is it!

But when I think back on it, some of the best-of-best times of my long life were on the farm stalking buzzards with my long gone and trusty Mossberg 352 carbine! Bazillions of LR's down range and I never ever succeeded in knocking down a buzzard in a fair fight. Best shooter I ever had. Remarkably, there are no memories of cleaning rods, bushes, patches and lubricants. Just a kid's baddass battle rifle that ran hot forever like the energizer bunny. <big sigh>
