My new Thun9 HC is sn A8 - - - -.
The SA trigger is good, though at release the stop is only .03" (less than 1mm) from the frame.

But the DA trigger is tough, and at release, the stop is only .02" from the frame.
The DA also seems to have inconsistent force near release; sometimes heavy,
sometimes very heavy.
And the horizontal trigger tip travel from takeup to release is .72" (18mm).
It was built in April 2010, and was on display, so the trigger had some use.

It seems to be out of spec now, but will firing and cycling the trigger possibly improve it,
or make it worse, or neither ?

I know the first thought is to send it for service, but if it might improve,
then I'll see what happens after 100 rounds.

Sorry to hear that your having some problems. Like Tony 1990, I'm giving some thought to a HC or another UC as a long term spare. Even though I don't have the tools to be as exact on the measurements as you indicate or even an HC, but, I compared my UC, serial in the B0____ series, roughly against the measurements you listed above as he HC and UC appear to have the same parts through out the trigger housing based upon a search in the parts catalog. I think the measurements on mine mimic what you have listed above. I'm not having any inconsistency with my trigger and I've got around 500 rounds through mine. IMHO, before you go to the trouble of taking it to or mailing it to a repair center, I would take it to a local gunsmith and have them check the trigger pull.
