I sure am glad the weather is getting cooler since it will make carrying a lot easier. Normally I carry my BT380CC IWB but now I can carry my BT380 under my jacket or sweater with a regular Holster.
Anyone else planning to change their carrying habit during the cold season??

Yes it's starting to cool off here in south Florida also.

For some reason (mostly curiosity) I wanted to try appendix carry IWB. So I got me a GALCO AIWB "Sto-N-Go" leather holster for my Taurus 357 revolver to try. I liked it! Holster was only $26 so it wasn't an expensive experiment. All leather with re-enforced mouth, single clip, moderate hi-ride, straight drop. Now to see if it's comfortable.

But AIWB is a really good way to conceal year-round. It hides the gun under most any shirt. After you find the "sweet spot" it is most comfortable and accessible. I got another GALCO holster for my Glock G26/19, too. The larger G19 compact fits fine. Even its larger size, when placed right, is no problem. T-shirt - no problem. Winter coat - no problem. AIWB is the way to go, IMO.

Today I am carrying my Bersa Thunder 22 in my wool robe and staying home.


There is snow and ice all over the place in the DFW area in Texas.

I have a lot of relatives in Florida and I should have gone to visit them before the ice came. Too late now so I keep wearing my long johns and drinking a lot of hot chocalate...

When we get snow they practically close down the city, here! NObody can drive in snow; and ice? FORGET IT!!! Call out the National Guard. Good thing we only get a light dusting every few years or more. I stay home and watch the car accidents on TV. It's like a demolition derby.
