Presently I don't own a 9, but I do have thunder's in .380 and .45 and they will eat anything that you feed them. Be sure to strip that new pistol down, clean it real good and lube it before you take it to the range. That oily crud on there is some type of rust preventer not gun oil and it will gum everything up if not washed out....
Mine didn't like popcorn No bang what so everI have a Bersa Thunder 9 UC Pro and I have never had a failure of any kind with it. It eats anything I feed it.
