I tried the Bersa 380 Combat pistol 8 round magazine in place of the 7 round magazine in my Bersa thunder 380 and it worked great. All 8 rounds fired with no missfeeds during several reloads. I figure 8 rounds is better than 7 rounds, now I will check out the Bersa 380 9 round magazine and see if it too works. If I am going to get a couple more spare Bresa 380 magazines I should get the one that carrys the most rounds. However at $37.00 per magazine I need to check if it will work first. On the 7 & 8 round magazines I compared the magazines on my BT380 and my Bersa 380 CC so I figured they would work since both were the same.
Anyone know if the 9 magazines is interchangeable with the 7 & 8 magazines.

Thanks

I didn't know they had a 9 rounder. I have 3 8 rounders that I use for general shooting (and mayhem... :)) and I have a 7 rounder (with the little finger rest on bottom for ID purposes) I keep loaded with either HP +P or that RN hard cast +P rated ammo. I shoot the 8 rounders for target practice and keep the loaded 7 rounder in the safe for when I want to quickly grab-N-go with the least hassle. I can't say I have had any trouble with any of the Bersa magazines and don't expect to. Just speculation, but I would expect the factory 9 rd mags to perform just as well.

When I first got mine I pushed the follower(s) down and put a stick thru the holes in the sides. Then, with a long-handled Q-tip I "painted" Eezox dry lube down the sides and let them dry. So far I've had smooth operation from all 4 mags.

Bersa says they are not interchangeable but the 7&8 do work.

Thunder 380 CC Features
• Extra low profile sights
• Combat style trigger guard
• Slim Slide Release
• Micro-polished bore with sharp, deep rifling
• Decocker
• Flat bottom 8 shot magazine
• Note: Not interchangeable with the 7 or 9
Round Thundermagazines.

"Interchangable" in regard to what?! How is a mag interchangable except for changing out the mag as per normal operation? That, IMO, seems a weird term. The 7 and 8 round mags I have work fine. I haven't shot more than about 300 rds through them but all seem to be OK. I'd guess a 9 round mag would be the same, just a tad longer. So what? Kinda confusing...

The 9 round mag came with the Bersa Thunder Delux Thunder. (380 Thunder with a little bing on it) It stickes out the bottom little over a inch with a large finger rest It appears the New Combat 8 round is the same mag as the CC . For years Bersa has said not to use in the Thunder only the CC. I have 2 and they have always worked in my Thunder. I still carry with my 7 round I like the pinky rest

All 380 thunder /cc mags will interchange Except the Thunder Plus That is a double stack 15 round mag works only with the Thunder Plus larger frame.

Great if the 9 Round magazine will work on my BT 380, I would like a little larger magazine when I carry my BT380. Now I just have to hope the price comes down a little bit.

I'm not a big fan of Kydex, plastic, or nylon holsters, too rough on the body and the gun. After a few trial and errors with various styles, both IWB & OWB, including paddles, I decided on a good quality owb leather holster from UBG Holsters for both my 380 and my 9UC.
