Just got email notification from Ammunition Online at Factory Direct Prices | Freedom Munitions | Handgun Ammo & Rifle Ammo that they're having a 24 hr sale (9/17) on 380 ammo. $134 for 500 rds. if anyone is interested.

That's a pretty good sale, wish it was JHP since I have plenty of range ammo.
Robert, I visited Freedom Munitions again to check what kind of new deal they had on Ammo. They had 380 XTP Hornady JHP box of 50 for $18.78 which is .37 per bullet which is a good price. However they were out of stock so I request notification when they have some available.

Robert, I wonder who orders ammo by the Pallet from Freedom Munitions?????

My L.G.S. has most of their ammo shelves pretty full. I haven't checked into the variety within caliber, but all calibers seem to be there. They are limiting the quantity so everyone has a chance to buy some.

I don't know but I can give you a definite answer as to who doesn't order it by the pallet from ANYbody!!! ME!!! :) I bought 1000 at a time in 9mm when I found a really good price a while back and just recently from Freedom Munitions, but that's the highest quantity I'll buy at a time. I'd run outta room!
Hey Tony - Was looking for some inexpensive HP to run thru my Thunder (more "shakedown" stuff...) and since Freedom Munitions was out of theirs I tried looking for new stuff elsewhere. I found some Remington in the White Box 100 for $38 at SGAmmo.com | Family Owned and Operated Ammo Sales, Stillwater OK Not as cheap as Freedom but it ain't too bad in case you're interested. Had Hornady Critical Duty (or defense, I forget, too) for around $19 for 25, again, if you're interested. I ordered Tuesday and it's arriving Thursday. He's in OK so you might even get if quicker. Hope you get this in time because quantities were fairly good but limited ....

Thanks, at that price .38 cent per bullet I could also use it for target practice since they cost about the same. You do have to order 6 boxes to get the $38.95 price but even the regular price price is very good. I will be ordering some..

Again Thanks

Six boxes? What am I missing? I only ordered 2 of the 100 rd. value packs and 1 Hornady Critical Defense and got the price on the site. They arrived Thursday (as UPS tracking indicated) and I loaded up my Bersa mags to let sit and see if I can remedy the jamming problem that has recently resurfaced.

Well if the 380 HP ammo 100/box at sale price is $38.95 or regular price $39.95 regardless of number of boxes ordered it is still a very good price. Either way I signed up for their newsletter and will be ordering about 6 boxes.

Does anyone use the Liberty civil defense ammo, if so what is your opinion on it?

Eddie I have never used the Liberty Civil Defense ammo and in fact have never even seen it in any of the LG stores or The Academy or Cabela's . But a while back when I doing some research on Fragmenting ammo, I found that the Liberty Civil Defense ammo is a Fragmenting bullet and since I had no experience with Fragmenting ammo I kinda dropped it. However I have never heard anything bad about Liberty Civil Defense ammo.

I took my Thunder out Tuesday and shot almost all of one box of the 88gr HP rds. I LIKE 'EM! They shot well, no jams and the gun seemed to like them. I have one box left and I'll be ordering more when the 2nd box runs out.

I have 2 Box's of the Rem 88gr hp 380 ammo coming. Looking forward to testing them out too on my BT380 & 380cc. Also you were correct they don't care how many box's you order at one time to get the $38.95 price per box.
Thanks

I ordered 2 Box's of the Rem HP 380 today and within 1 hour I received 5 emails from them. They said thanks for the order, order approved, keep this email as your receipt, forgot what else. And the 6th was from UPS saying the order was shipped, when it will arrive and gave me the Tracking number. Now that is great service that I have ever received from anyone.
I imagine I will be ordering from again real soon.

I just received the 2 box's of Remington UMC 88gr hp 380 ammo today which was quick service since I ordered them on 10-09-14. That was a 4 day delivery and 2 of the days were Sat & Sun.
I can hardly wait to try them out which will be this week before Friday. If they work like I hope they will I will be ordering more.
The price was $39.95 and not $38.95 but it is still a great price for a box of 100 HP 380 ammo. Most HP comes in 20 or 25 rnds per box and at .40 per rnd that means a box of 25 rnds of HP ammo would cost $10.00. Cool.

Not .380, but interesting I thought, I was at my gun store, a small one man op. He is having a hard time getting .22lr ammo in small boxes, so he is buying large boxes and counting 50 out per bag, 7.95 per bag.

I've used SGAmmo for a while now for new ammo. He usually has really good, low prices on name brand ammo. And as you found out, he ships fast!!! Good people.

Haven't used it but have read others' opinions of it in larger than 380 calibers and most were skeptical. Until it gets some "street cred" like LEO and/or FBI type use it'll probably stay off the "radar". IMO, it's got its hi point (fragmenting, multi-impact) and its lo-points (non-proven, multi-impact) not a good hard hit like a solid, HP bullet (or even a wadcutter) is gonna generate. I plan to stay clear until they are used and proven other than the manufacturer's say so .... And they're pretty expensive.
