2nd owner warranty - not transferrable

I had bought a used bersa thunder .380 pistol and wrote the factory about the warranty on the pistol. They said the warranty on all bersa pistols only extends to the original owner/purchaser.
I'm sorry they don't cover their pistols for a lifetime like some other companies do, no matter who is the owner. Food for thought if you plan on buying a pre-owned bersa product.

Sell it and but the same gun through a Davidsons Dealer (www.galleryofguns.com). They guarantee it as the distributer. You take it back to the dealer and they give you a new gun.

Hello, I understand that the factory extends the guarantee of the pistol for life and that is how it does not matter who the owner is, at least here it is so those who had a problem went to the factory and in a couple of days bersa repairs the weapon free of charge as long as it is a manufacturing defect

Yes, I believe your 380 can be registered again on their website as a 2nd owner. As another factor you can call Eagle Imports and they will check your 380 serial # for manufacture date and first distributor. At this time you can talk with them about extended warranty. They are very helpful.
